When the military needed specialized light weight airborne broadcast transmitters for UAV projects, EMCEE was there to fill that requirement.

EMCEE agile airborne television transmitters have been utilized in the Predator and Snow Goose UAV projects.  They are uniquely designed for low payload weight with standard airframe mounting, to provide high power, and utilize the 28 Volt airframe power.  Special transmitter remote control features were developed to dovetail the transmitter control into the high level aircraft control software.
